Linux is a robust operating system and proven server operating system for desktop computers and other devices. With the growing popularity of tablet PCs, Linux is also considered a contender when it comes to tablet OS. Linux Tablet is one of the powerfull tablet nowdays.

Android OS, developed by Google is based on the Linux kernel is one of the market leaders in those days. The recent release Android, Honeycomb, specializes in consumer devices such as screen tablets. For users who prefer the original environment of Linux on their shelves, there are Linux tablet versions that can meet the needs of a tablet.

Ubuntu Netbook Edition, for example, is an original version of Ubuntu that is specialized for small devices such as tablets or for linux we call Linux Tablet. The latest version, Ubuntu Netbook Edition 10.10, using the desktop unit and its interface. The Joo Joo Linux Tablet

A new Linux tablet computer called JooJoo.  Singapore development studio Fusion Garage who are invent this Linux tablet.  Fusion Garage  release it as the CrunchPad by working with Michael Arrington , but in 11.2009, Arrington has responded by filing a lawsuit against Fusion Garage. Fusion Garage informed Arrington it would be selling the Linux tablet product alone.





However the Fusion Garaga have gone ahead and change the CrunchPad name into JooJoo Linux tablet.
The Linux tablet  is 12.1 inch widescreen , multi-touch tablet with a 1Ghz Atom processor and 1 GB RAM. For sure this Linux tablet runs a custom Linux OS targeted towards Internet browsing and has Wifi 802.11b/g capability as well as an iPhone.
Originaly, this Linux tablet priced at $200, but now this Linux tablet is available from it’s site at $500. Although this is one of the more cooler looking devices out there, a 250% increase in price for a gadget running Open Source software and no special features like support for 3G or TV/HDMI output maybe slightly over the top.
